More random than a hole in a missing sock

I’m back… okay, there’s a very real possibility that none of y’all noticed that this blog had gone offline for the weekend… come to think of it, I don’t even know whether this post will show. But while we’re at it…

The guys over at NodeSix are offering a sweet deal to the members of the blog-sphere (sue me, I can’t say blogosphere without gagging). Check out this page for details. And yeah, they also went the password route. It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one that will be hounded for passwords and such. Long story short (and believe you me, it is a LONG sweet story), you can have your blog hosted for 10k a month. This is cool because you don’t sound like an upcoming local artiste trying to cram as many words in a sentence in the shortest time, ie “my blog is someoneatemyfood dot somethingorother dot com slash my blog”. Yeah, you can have someoneatemyfood dot com. I checked. Plus there will be fewer instances of cannibalistic tendencies by blogs going around eating comments.

I went out Saturday planning to pick up some stuff from Bugolobi and then heading home. Life being what it is, the plan took a detour and I got home at 6am on Sunday after a couple of beers, bottles of wine, colorful labels (red, black) and some dude called Johnny with a strange penchant for walking… I also got myself some food from a takeaway, but I was too tired to finish it. When I woke up on Sunday, I was a little disoriented. My hand came across something in bed that made me freak out. It felt a bit like a fat finger that had been cut off, so the first thing that came to my mind was, “Oh ****!! It shrunk and fell off. What the heck was I drinking?”

Turns out it was a piece of sausage that had wandered into my bed…

The Dark Knight in my honest opinion is the best movie I’ve seen this year. Wanted was delightful and truth be told, I felt like I’d just finished watching a self help movie. . . and that can’t be right. Seriously, you don’t walk out of a movie with people killing people and think to yourself, “Shit. I have to do something with my life!” That’s uncool. Anyway, back to The Dark Knight. In all honesty, this was The Joker’s movie co-starring Batman and friends. I do not agree with anyone that says Harvey Dent’s character was not authentic enough. Actually, specifically, I do not agree with you Hedwyn.

As far as the template goes, my old one left. With any luck, there will be a new one pretty soon. Time will tell…speaking of which, I’m fresh out of time. Catch you guys later.

oh yeah, the password is blogren
